Sanctuary Point is located on St Georges Basin - a large inland body of water that flows to the ocean at Sussex Inlet. The area is generally suburban in nature but has a lovely foreshore, especially at Palm Beach.
The road access to the area is via Nowra and then Jervis Bay Road - along the same route that takes you to Hyams Beach and Booderee National Park. The distance from Nowra to Sanctuary Point is about 30 kilometres.
