Location and Access
Kiama acts as a gateway between the Illawarra and the Shoalhaven and the start to the south coast. Only 90 minutes from Sydney and approximately two hours drive from Canberra, Kiama is perfectly situated between country and city, land and surf.
Key Features and Attractions
Kiama’s iconic lighthouse, built in the 1800s, sits above its equally iconic blowhole, both well worth the visit to this pretty coastal town located 120 kilometres south of Sydney. Pristine surf beaches, magnificent coastal and inland rainforest walks as well as many alfresco cafes make Kiama a popular south coast destination.
