A 20 minute walk from Bundeena beach will get you to Bonnie Vale beach with shallow water which is ideal if you have children and if they want to go swimming, it is very safe here. You can also take a permit to camp at the local campsite within the Royal National Park. There are picnic tables and provisions for barbeques on this beach.
Horderns, Bonnie Vale and Jibbon are some of the most spectacular bayside beaches in Bundeena. Right next to Hordens is a beach called Gunyah which is quite secluded as very few tourists are seen here. Though a little rocky, it makes a wonderful snorkeling spot. Jibbon is at the eastern end and doesn’t require a fee unlike BonnieVale.
