Wander along the rock platform to the north to access Wombarra Beach or south to the patrolled Coledale Beach. Or just explore the rock pools on the platform directly in front of the home. Do some scuba diving right out front.

Small dogs are permitted indoors, but please do not allow them on furniture or beds. The property is fenced to the road, but not fenced to the ocean. Pets must be closely supervised at all times.
  • Parking off street for 3 cars. No parking for boats.
  • NO SMOKING IN OR AROUND THE PROPERTY.

ABOUT THE AREA

  • The drive from Sydney to Wombarra Coasting takes you across the famous Sea Cliff bridge and along the Lawrence Hargraves Drive. You will pass the beachside villages of Coalcliff, the small community of Clifton and the equally small Scarborough, which is located high on the slopes in lee of Cape Horn, before you arrive at Wombarra.
  • Make sure you pop in to the Scarborough Hotel for a burger (and spectacular view) or call in to the Wombarra Bowling club.
  • Wombarra offers all of the benefits of coastal living, only one hour South of Sydney and 20 minutes North of Wollongong. Wombarra is an Aboriginal name which means "Black Duck".
  • Wombarra Beach is a 2 minute drive or 9 minute walk north of Wombarra Coasting. It is a narrow beach and has a beautiful rock pool at the southern end. There is an extensive rock platform here which is ideal for exploring rock pools. Take the road to the south of the beach to find a small car park and picnic area by the rock pool.
  • Coledale Beach is just a 1 km drive south of Wombarra Coasting (or an 11-minute walk). There is a salt water rock pool at the southern end of this small beach which is surrounded by rocks and cliffs. This secluded beach is also a popular fishing spot and is patrolled from the beginning of NSW school holidays in September to the end of the April school holidays.
